Playing with servers and databases and they really aren’t that much fun for me 😛
Still managed to do everything right so far. I got one site moved, another created, and made an existing WordPress blog a multi-site setup. So far it’s been a very productive day, I might reward myself with a trip to King Kone later 🙂
After some wrong turns and a lot of “well I think that’s right” I was finally able to get my site hooked up to the Content Delivery Network we got set up through MaxCDN. I don’t really have much on my site right now, but when I do have content it’ll be fast 🙂
This is defiantly worth reading. As an apple customer I appreciate the reasoning behind Flash not being included on Apple mobile devices. I also like their thinking in regards to third-party development libraries. I like a good library as much as the next developer, but sometimes the best way to write an app is to do all the coding yourself.
I decided to re-do my site and start fresh, and since I hadn’t posted anything in weeks I figured it would just be easier. This theme is built to be more like tumblr, but allow for some bigger posts too. I think I’ll be able to handle that better.
